Phases

Liz Anastasiadis’ poetry book Phases follows the story of their own personal journey through loss, grief, growing up, mental health, and falling in and out of love with people, and themselves. Their poems show the story through metaphor and mythology, seamlessly blending the three different parts or “Phases” of the book: Death, Mentality, and Healing, into a unique story. The book, named after the moon and its many changing forms, follows the journey from self-loathing to self-love, and the discovery of a new way of thinking about the self.
